New Faces of Bollywood in 2007

Bollywood is the second largest producer of movies in the world! It is like the Pushpaka Vimana of our puranas, where everyone can get a place of his own in it! The year 2007 has witnessed many new faces on the screen. The new breed of actors and actresses has enriched the bollywood to go on in a global path duly changing it by adding their new age skills and prowess, according to the changing demands!

New heroes:

Of all the debut stars seen on the silver screen in the year 2007, Ranbir Kapoor of Saawariya stood at the top! His bollywood lineage starting from his grand-grand parents of Prithviraj Kapoor to Raj Kapoor has made him a hot favourite in the film circles even prior to the release of his first movie. In addition to this, the Rishi-Neetu Kapoor's son, has worked as an assistant to Sanay Leela Bhansali and later on launched by him as hero in his dream movie Saawariya. The hero has attracted the industry and the audience alike irrespective of the movie's fate and succeeded in creating high hopes on him to the later days to come!

The other one who proved his mettle as a promising hero with his debut is Neil Nitin Mukesh! He is also having a legacy of the noted singer of yester years, Mukesh. He made a debut with a thriller made by Sriram Raghavan, Johnny Gaddar and came out with all the accolades!

The much successful music composer-turned-hero, Himesh Reshmmiya has made his debut with his movie named after his popular music album, Aap Ka Suroor and got good openings worldwide and succeeded in getting the approval of the audience as the hero. Now, he is coming up with new projects to be released in 2008!

The other heroes who came from the much reputed Ram Gopal Varma's factory have failed to woo the audience this time! Every debutante these days has a dream to play a role in RGV's movie as they believe that the director can elevate their acting abilities at their fullest extent. This year has proved the notion wrong! The new faces, Prashant Raj, who made a debut in Ram Gopal Varma Ke Aag and Gautam Gupta, who entered the bollywood with Go, had gone unnoticed!

New Heroines:

After all, Bollywood is the best place for finding the sizzling beauties! This year too new heroines like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Urvashi Sharma have made their presence on the screen! Of them, model-turned actress Deepika Padukone has, all the way, went with great applause from all sections of people with her stunning performance in Shah Rukh's Om Shanti Om! Anil Kapoor's daughter, Sonam Kapoor also made an impression on Bollywood with her debut movie, Saawariya, even though the movie did not do well at Box Office! She bagged many interesting projects now including the next flick of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra of Rang De Basanti opposite Abhishek Bachchan!The other beauty, Urvashi Sharma, who made her first appearance in Abbas-Mustan 's Naqaab also went out with all the praise. She was already signed for four movies with big banners and in a great expectation for the next year!
