I love getting lost: Sameera

Half of Tamil cinema’s pretty heroines have shifted base to Bollywood, and the other half are insisting that there’s no place as good as Kollywood.
But actress Sameera Reddy is perhaps making a smart move by balancing the two and getting the best of both worlds.
Today’s her special day, and she’s wrapping up shoot for the Ajith-starrer Asal. “I’m looking forward to the audience’s reaction to the songs,” she says, “One of them, choreographed by Ganesh, is a super stylish number.”
The Asal schedule at France is close to her heart as it helped her do things that she never thought she would. “Sometimes, I would just walk from the shoot to a place without any specific plan,” she remembers, “I love getting lost. When you do that, you observe a lot of things that you otherwise fail to notice. Most of the times, the film’s unit had to call me to ensure that I’m back on the sets for the shoot!” Still getting positive feedback for her hit Hindi flick De Dana Dan, Sameera will also soon be seen in Gautham’s next. “It’s a very experimental film,” she states.
Her Chennai connection is growing stronger by the day, as she’s here most of the time shooting for films. “I was talking about buying a flat here the other day, and my dad’s telling me that I’m at Chennai for work and not settling down!”
On her special day, Sexy Sam— as she’s popularly known — will be busy … with work! “Yes, I’ve been shooting non-stop and it’ll be no different on my birthday,” she states matter-of-factly.(TNN)
