Mallika Sherawat to be honoured by Los Angeles

Currently in the US completing post-production work on her movie Hissss!, Mallika Sherawat is to be honoured by the City of Los Angeles as part of the India Independence Day celebration.
She will receive a special award as an honorary citizen from Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and former Mayor Richard Riordan.
Her letter of invitation reads, "I invite you along with family and friends to join the Los Angeles City Council and Mayor in a council presentation recognizing your extraordinary contributions to our great City on August 14, 2009 at 10 am in Council Chambers."
