
The ‘CITY OF DREAMS’ after party

Sunday, 29th June, 2008: To celebrate the stupendous success and the finale of the musical “City of Dreams”, the Morani brothers and Flags Restaurant at Wodehouse Road, Colaba hosted a special reception as a fitting finale to this musical extravaganza. Eminent personalities from Bollywood, the fashion world and TV stars like Shweta Salve, Krushna & Kashmera, Mandira Bedi & Raj Kaushal, Pradeep Jethani, Designer Rehaan, Model Jennifer Mayani, Anisshka Khosla, Gaurav Chopra, Aryeman Babber, Band of Boys and many more joined the cast and crew of the musical for celebrations. The extravagant new musical ‘City of Dreams’ concluded its last show in Mumbai tonight, among a jam packed auditorium. Hoards of celebrities and others flocked to watch this mega production. The show - a song and light extravaganza with 40 dancers was a visual delight, truly authentic that had all the elements of Bollywood that is colorful, dynamic and vibrant. The fine ensemble cast included Kashmera Shah, Shipra Singh, Gaurav Chopra, Anand Tiwari, Mandar Chandwadkar and introducing Lucky Nasreen Morani. ‘City of Dreams’ was a joint production of CINEYUG and Ashvin Gidwani Productions in association with Reliance Capital. The Morani brothers were looking for the best choice of place, where they could welcome the celebrity guests and the cast and crew of the show, who would attend the after party to mark the grand finale and success of the hit musical and they could not have found a better venue than Flags at Wodehouse Road, Colaba. Flags is a sprawling 5000 square feet, 154 cover restaurant which has the capacity to go up to 200 covers. Spread over 2 levels, it is conveniently located in the heart of the city. It has ambient contemporary interiors, low-key bar/lounge designed for wine and cigar connoisseurs and backed by the largest selection of spirits, cocktails, wines and cigars. Flags proudly hosts a never ending Menu aimed at satisfying every foodie with carefully selected dishes from all over the world. The menu is the map of the world with the food alongside the country. An ideal spot for an evening of fine dine over an ambient play list of global tunes perfectly selected for the world traveler. |
