Dattu about old city clashes

Debut hero Sanjay made his entry into Tollywood with the film titled Dattu, which was launched at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad. Made on NSR Creations banner, the film was launched by famed director Vijaya Bapineedu. It is directed by DS Reddy. Producer is DV Reddy and Sangar.
"The film is based on the real time incident that happened in the city in 1980. It is in the backdrop of communal backlash in old city. What is the main reason behind these clashes? This is the theme of our film. In this film, there are two fathers to the hero. How can this be possible? It is suspense." Hero Sanjay said: "I took my acting classes in Vizag. I am playing an important role in Jalsa. Now, I am happy to be making my entry as hero with this film." Heroine Nandini said: "I am a classical dancer and did several commercial ads. I play the role of a modern girl with corporate ideas." Music is by Sriram. Stunts are by Ram Lakshman. It will have regular shoot from March first week. |
