The team of Sekhar Kammula's Happy Days today celebrated the Platinum disc function at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. The Management of the Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT), which hosted shooting location to Happy Days making, appreciated its alumnus Sekhar Kammula. CBIT Chairman BN Reddy said: "Actually, we thought of not giving the institute premises to film shooting as usual, but our alumnus and disciplined student Sekhar Kammula impressed on us. Our board watched his previous film Anand and got very much satisfied with his track record. We are proud to have produced such a good product from our institute." Dil Raju, the distributor, said that the music of Happy Days enthralled him in a big way, and made him remember the initial days of his career in film industry, when he used to sing the tunes from hit films. Sekhar Kammula thanked music director Mickey J. Mayor and said that it was a team effort. He also thanked the audiences in AP and US for the excellent patronage to his film. Earlier, Mickey J. Mayor gave a wonderful instrumental performance much to the cheers from the gathering. Monali Chowdary, Gayatri Rao and Rajesh were among the artistes who graced the occasion.
