Highlights:
NTR dedicates Award to Sobhan Babu
NTR, who received the Best Actor Award (for Yamadonga) at the climax, said that he was honored to receive it. "I am dedicating this Award to Sobhan Babu garu, who passed away a couple of days ago. I request Chiranjeevi gaaru to handover the Award to the family members of the departed artiste." Chiranjeevi, who looked curious at NTR's words, took to smiles immediately and said he would do as per the wish of NTR. Interestingly, earlier, during the launch of MAA new logo, Chiraneevi maintained: "I and Nag are Board of Directors. That's why we have decided to not to compete for this Awards." It was widely heard among the audience that these remarks of Chiru might have prompted NTR to dedicate the Award to Sobhan Babu. In a sense rejecting it?
