Style and variety mark Mallannaa launch 

The new bilingual movie of Vikram titled Mallannaa was tonight (September 24^th) launched at Prasad Labs preview theatre, Hyderabad. Style and variety marked the function. Union Minister of State for Coal Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao attended the event and lighted the lamp, formally launching the movie. The promo screened on this occasion got immense response from the gathering.  

Lead pair Vikram, Shriya, Director Susi Ganeshan, Music Director Devi Sri Prasad and producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Priyamani, new heroine Kaveri Jha, DVS Raju, K Raghavendra Rao and Ramesh Prasad took part in the colorful evening. D. Ramanaidu also dropped in and greeted the filmmakers, cast and crew. 

Vikram appreciated director Susi Ganeshan for his brilliant idea. "Susi Ganeshan is a perfect mix of Manirathnam and Shankar. He is like a diamond. The present trailer is only the first polishing. You will see a Kohinoor when the movie is released." The star hero also complimented Devi Sri Prasad and Shriya for their multiple talents.  

Shriya felt elated from start to finish of the function. "The movie deals with a beautiful and wonderful theme. It has social relevance. Though we come across gory things happening and also read the same in newspapers. We really can't do anything. We are helpless. You will come to realize and understand what I have said after you have watched the movie. I am happy and feel proud to be working with Vikram. I am a big fan of him after watching Sethu."  

Sushi Ganeshan profusely thanked the producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu for his ready acceptance and liberal funding of the project. "We planned variety of getups for Vikram. The main aim is to lure the kids and youth audiences. I also appreciate Vikram and Shriya who made the project launch possible." The movie will be releasing on April 14 ^th, both in Tamil and Telugu.
