Ramcharan's new film launched

Ramcharan Tej's new film has had its puja ceremony at FNCC, Hyderabad. The launch was so silent but it witnessed the presence of almost all the biggies in the producers' segment. Made on Geeta Arts banner, it's produced by Allu Arvind and direction is by SS Rajamouli with other wings taken care of by his regular troupe.

Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, Pawan Kalyan, Ashwini Dutt, C. Kalyan, BVN Prasad, Devi Prasad, Rajamouli, Senthil Kumar (Cameraman), Kajal Agarwal (Heroine), hero Ramcharan Tej, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish and some of the important functionaries working with the Chiru Blood Bank took part in the puja function.

Addressing a press meet, Allu Arvind said: "Even before the start of Ramcharan's debut film Chirutha, we approached Rajamouli, but he said that he would direct the second film. Recently, he came with a great script and narrated the same to Chiru, me and Charan. We all liked it tremendously and it was finalized after some slight corrections. Though I expressed my reservations about the presence of heroine Kajal opposite Charan, Rajamouli took the lead and proved that she would be making it very big. The photo sessions were simply superb. She would look even more beautiful in this film than her previous films. As I am busy with my Hindi project and other personal works, I would not be concentrating on the project as a producer. That's why; I took the services of Bhogavalli Prasad, an associate of Rajamouli.

Rajamouli said: "There is nothing big about the story. The importance lies in its treatment and screenplay. First of all, it's a love story with lots of action. There is a fallacy that the love stories will not be in good taste when mixed with action element. In fact, all the great love stories had great action. I watched Ramcharan's ease in Chirutha. He already proved his mark as a good dancer and with fights. It increased my responsibility as I have to show in finer way, which I would surely do. The film unit will move to Rajasthan for a month-long shoot of two songs and two stunts, apart from some vital scenes. Coming to the story, it is about reincarnation. I want the press not to mistake the film as being based  on the recently released Om Shanti Om. The story is about the love which failed 400 years ago will be succeeding in this modern generation. I am disclosing the storyline, because even if I don't, it is bound to come out. The problem is that it would be hitting on the wrong or imaginative side too. Also, there is no truth in the recent wild imagination of the press that the movie was titled as Dheerudu, or we are trying to rope in Sridevi. If any such things happen, it would be brought to your notice first.

Hero Ramcharan said: "I am thrilled to be working with Rajamouli. I took up a lot of training in Karate and other martial arts. I even took training in horse riding. Coming to this film, it involved more physical efforts. I don't want to get into any particular type of herodom. It is up to the audiences to decide once the movie releases.

Heroin Kajal said: "I am thankful to producer Allu Arvind and director Rajamouli for giving me an opportunity to work with a big banner like Geeta Arts. I shall do complete justice to their expectations. My characterization has a lot of scope for performance and that is challenging too."
