Sekhar Kammula gets ready for youthful extravaganza

Director Sekhar Kammula, Tollywood's youthful sensation, gets ready for unique entertainment, which might be the first of its kind in our industry. His Happy Days made on Amigos Creations Banner is finished of its shoot and is ready for release soon. A former student of Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology (CBIT), Kammula undertook a nerve-taking shoot schedule for nearly a hundred days at the sprawling campus on the city outskirts. After a hard deal, he is all happy to introduce the new cast of the film – all bubbling with high energy and innocent expectation of audience blessings for their first experience.

It was all warmth at Hotel Green Park, where the introduction session of the cast took place this evening. Highlights of the occasion were Varun Sandesh (Chandu), Nikhil (Rajesh), Rahul (Tyson), Vamsee Krishna (Shankar), Gayatri Rao (Appu), Monali Chowdary (Sangeetha) and Sonia (Sravanti). Tamanna, who plays one among the cast couldn't attend the event. Another young sensation was Mickey J. Meyer. The event began with the screening of a trailer with photo stills of the newly cast heroes and heroines to a sonorous background score of Micky and playing of the title song – duly introducing them, "at the right juncture," as Kammula might have thought it fit.

Sekhar Kammula initiated the introduction of the cast with a humble recalling of the experiences he had with the project Happy Days ever since it began in November last year through February this year to actual grounding. He said there was immense response from the applicants from all over the world. Of the 20,000 applications, only seven were picked up. It was all a tiresome exercise but executed with extraordinary perfection.

Anand and Godavari are my daughters : Happy Days is  my son

Sekhar Kammula brought an impressive comparison of his projects with human relationships. He said that Anand and Godavari were his daughters, while Happy Days was his son. "We have to be very careful in grooming a son, as there is every chance that he might go astray," he maintained. " Happy Days is going to be the real trendsetter. For the first time, the film is being made with the participation of the corporate world. This is the Present Trend. And this is going to be the Future Trend too. It is not just a movie. It is the typical piece of a Human relations project. You are going to have the lively entertainment with College Days and students. I took every care to maintain the decorum of my college CBIT all through the shoot," he maintained. He thanked Mickey. J. Meyer, for his sparkling music.

All the cast (three girls and four boys) profusely thanked Sekhar Kammula for the opportunity on the big screen and they plainly expressed their indebtedness forever.

Happy to give Soulful music, says Mickey Meyer

Later, Mickey J. Meyer, said that he was associated with Kammula when Dollar Dreams was launched. "Now, I got a chance with Kammula, and I feel lucky. I hope I gave soulful music," he said.

The audio of the film will be releasing on 12th or 14th through BIG MUSIC for the first time in Telugu cinema.
