Senior lady director Vijaya Nirmala celebrated her birthday amidst the presence of superstar Krishna and a big gathering of fans at their private resort on the outskirts of Hyderabad.  

The fans of Krishna and Mahesh Babu have come from all over the state, displayed vines and banners, and distributed a special book on Vijaya Nirmala. The fan hungama witnessed profusely crackers blast and shouts of Zindabad for the couple. Speaking on this occasion, she said that her 45th film will be coming up soon on Vijaya Krishna Movies.  

"It is based on the popular novel Vala that came in Swathi magazine. It will sure entertain the audiences on the lines of my previous hit film Meena." Currently, she is doing her 44th film Soldier, starring Krishna. Krishna said that he looked forward to see Vijaya Nirmala directing her 100th film. The couple emphasised the need for widespread use of ayurvedic cosmetics and medicines for good health
