Producer of critically acclaimed film - Aa Naluguru, tucked up for another project curiously titled Vinayakudu. The film's logo was launched. Sekhar Kammula, Chandra Siddarth, MS Raju, RP Patnaik, Prem Kumar Patra (producer) and his wife Saritha Patra, Saikiran (director of the film) were present. MS Raju and Sekhar Kammula jointly unveiled the logo. The movie is starring one Krishnudu as hero, while heroine is Sonia. Music is by Shyam Prasan. Story, screenplay and direction are by Saikiran Adivi.

Sekhar Kammula said: "Director Saikiran earlier worked with me as assistant director for the films Anand and Happy Days. He is a mine of talent. I hope he will succeed like me." MS Raju said: "People call me as Vinayakudu in the industry. I wish that this film should complete its 100 days run and the festival should be celebrated at this venue. I also wish producer Prem, for patronizing such cool family entertainers like Aa Nalugugu and now Vinayakudu."

Director Saikiran said: "Actually, we wanted this film to be a low-budget film. The producer gave me absolute freedom of execution and thought." Producer Premkumar said: "I regret that I failed to exploit the hype and trend created through my debut film Aa Naluguru. Though I did a Kannada film later, it didn't fetch the satisfaction. At this stage, I heard this subject – Vinayakudu. I am confident that Saikiran will bring out a superb project. I want MS Raju to do a role in my film as I am doing a small role in the film." Heroine Sonia (one of the heroines of Happy Days) thanked the producer and director for their patronizing.
