Jab John met Nagesh!

MUMBAI, MAY 09 (INDIATIMES MOVIES) Talk about filmy co-incidences, and there’s John Abraham sharing his with us. Apparently, the first time Nagesh Kukunoor called up John to narrate his upcoming film Aasheyein’s script to him, the actor was shooting in Los Angeles. So when Nagesh called up John and told him that he was down in the actor’s city to talk about the project, John couldn’t control his laughter. After his bout of laughter, when John disclosed to Nagesh that he was shooting in Los Angeles which happens to the director’s one-time adda, even Kukunoor had a hearty laugh.
Recalling about the incident, John feels that though it was a small incident, it helped break ice since the duo have never met each other earlier nor had Nagesh seen any of John’s movies. In fact, he was relying on a friend’s advice to cast John for Aashayein. What followed was Kukunoor narrating the script on phone and John instantly agreeing to play the lead character. Bollywood’s getting tech-savvy for sure.
