20th Century Fox buys Rajendra Prasad’s film

Comedy king Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad has completed an English film titled ‘Quick Gun Murugan’. A Tamil character in an English film. The actor disclosed this at a press meet at the Film Nagar Cultural Centre in the City on Wednesday. Sporting the Cowboy outfits of the 1970s, his gun blazes to safeguard the interests of vegetarians in the film. Malayali girl Anu Menon dons the female lead.
 
 
 
Rambha appears as a vamp. Being made simultaneously in Tamil and English, most of the film has been shot at Ramanaidu Studios, Nanakramguda and Studios in Mumbai.
 
 
 
Shashank Ghosh is directing the film.
 
 
 
Monte Cristo International presents the film while Phat Phish Motion Pictures Production is producing the film. Associate producer Joseph Vijaykar was also present on the occasion.
 
 
 
Upbeat over his English film debut, the actor said: "The film has comedy in international standards. First time I got a taste of realistic action sequences during the film shoot. Hollywood Production House 20th Century Fox has bought the film and will distribute it there.
