Yashraj Films apologize

Aditya Chopra of Yashraj Films, producer of Aaja Nachle, the Madhuri Dixit comeback film, tendered an unqualified apology for causing any discomfort through the lyrics of the film. He said that any reference to caste in the lyrics was unintended by the writers, as they were guided by the compulsions of the screenplay.
The UP chief minister Mayawati accepted the apology and immediately ordered to lift the ban on the screening of Aaja Nachle in the state.
