Allu Arjun to share screen space

In a state where movies are the biggest source of entertainment and actors are akin to demi gods, an opportunity to dance alongside your favourite star is a dream come true for many. And about 20 youngsters in the city are living this very dream after having been selected to shake a leg with Allu Arjun in his next video.
The organisers of the Dance With Allu contest that offers fans a chance to share screen space with the star has selected 24 youngsters from 13 towns in the state. Of the thousands who’d applied, only a lucky few made it to the grand finale and of these seven will be selected by the Tollywood star himself. The winners will dance with Allu Arjun for the video of a private album with finale scheduled for Wednesday, these youngsters are busy practising and getting their act together, hoping this will be their gateway to a successful career in showbiz. “I’ve wanted to be a choreographer ever since I was a child.
This contest is the right platform for me to prove my worth. If I get selected for this album, it will be easier for me to get opportunities to choreograph a movie,” says Arun Gandhi, a contestant from Nalgonda district. S. Pradip Reddy, a contestant from the city couldn’t agree more. “I am going to perform Maro Maro from his movie Bunny. It is my dream to be a choreographer. This album will be a perfect start to fulfill my dream.
Thankfully, my parents are very supportive and readily agreed when I told them about this contest,” he says. The most excited of the lot however, seems to be Fareed Baba, a physically challenged participant from Suryapet. The youngster says, “Allu Arjun is one of the few actors in the industry who can dance well. I am going to dance to songs from his movies. I am also a good mimic, so I hope to impress the judges. There are several TV shows, but this one gives dancers like us an opportunity to star in music video with our favourite star. I hope I make it. (DC)
