Unit of Bhayya confident of big success
GK Films is getting ready to release the Vishal starrer Bhayya on October 5th all over the state. Its audio with music scored by Mani Sharma was released recently. The Tamil version Malai Kotai was already released in Tamilnadu. On this occasion, producer Vikram Krishna, hero Vishal and lyricist Sahiti arranged a press meet at Hotel Fortune Katriya, Hyderabad, on Monday. Raghu Kunche anchored the event.
Lyricist Sahiti maintained that he had a hoary association with GK Films. "I penned lyrics for all the movies of Vishal made on their home banner. Mine were two lyrics in this movie. I am sure that the film would become a big hit in Telugu."
Producer Vikram Krishna said: "Vishal won the appreciation of all sections of the Telugu audiences thanks to his superb performance. There are lot of admirers and well-wishers to Vishal in the women segment. Already Vishal scored hat-trick with the movies Pandem Kodi, Pogaru and Bharani. This film will bring the course of another hat-trick for Vishal. This film projected Vishal in ample measure of comedy, besides the regular action part. I am sure; the present film Salute in Vishal will also become a big hit and win the hearts of Telugu audiences."
Hero Vishal said: "This is my sixth film in Tamil, and getting simultaneous response in Telugu also. The movie was released in Tamilnadu and abroad with 192 prints. Everywhere is a hit talk. It gives me a lot of happiness and confidence. When I was touring the state of Andhra Pradesh during the victory rally of Bharani, people called me as Bhayya. I liked being called like that. So, I named this film as Bhayya. For the first time Mani Sharma scored music for our film. I played the role of one Jagan. Sahiti has given excellent lyrics. I am thankful to director Bhupati Pandyan for his extraordinary care taken to project various angles in the film. Priyamani is a good friend of mine and working with her is a pleasure. Bhayya would remain one of the most memorable movies in my career. Though we tried our level best to release both Telugu and Tamil versions of Bhayya simultaneously, we couldn’t as much care is taken for technical perfection in Telugu like dialogue delivery and treating the nativity factor. I worked very hard for this film. During an action episode, I got hurt in my hand and even got around 15 stitches. Now, my latest movie Salute is under brisk shoot. Cinematography is going to be a major highlight. I need the blessings of all Telugu people."
