Chandrahas celebrates 100 Days
 
Chandrahas – the movie starring Dr. Haranath Policharla has today celebrated its 100 days function at Ravi Narayana Auditorium, Hyderabad. The film unit attended the event along with their family members. Made on HP Banner, the film has superstar Krishna playing the role of Sivaji. The story revolving round the imagination as to how would it fare when you swoop on the sword (Chandrahas) of Sivaji. Sivasakti Dutta directed the film, while hero Haranath himself produced the venture. Astha Singhal played the heroine. 
 
Superstar Krishna graced the occasion as chief guest and appreciated the efforts of Haranath Policharla as a budding artiste and producer. "Haranath approached me with the story of Chandrahas. He said I alone would do justice to the role of Sivaji, as a short role of mine of Sivaji in my previous film has impressed him very much. I also appreciate Sivasakthi Dutta for his dedication in molding the film with a lot of historical value."  
 
Krishna also distributed shields to the cast and crew of the film. On this occasion, Mahesh and Krishna Fans garlanded the superstar with giant garland.  
 
Hero and producer Harinath Policharla said that he was also mesmerized by the film world. "It is my dream to encourage the young talent in the film industry. Several artistes with good talent are not being recognized. In all my film productions, I encouraged good technicians and artistes. Chandrahas gave me happiness as people recognized the importance of movies with historical background. I will continue to do good films." Haranath further said that he would soon be taking up anchoring for a programme Navarasaalu coming up in Gemini TV soon. He thanked Gemini Kiran in this regard. Later, Policharla was garlanded by his fans. 
 
PC Reddy, prominent filmmaker, said: "Haranath Policharla is an ocean of talent. If he gets a right person who can tap him fully, the people of Andhra Pradesh will see a great artiste. While NTR and ANR are called the two eyes of film industry, Policharla is like the third eye, considering his potential not only as an artiste, but also as a good producer."  
 
The producer-hero celebrated the birthday of director Sivasakti Dutta on the dais, but cutting a huge cake. R. Rambabu (director), Rajyalakshmi, executive producer Naga Koteswara Rao, Prabhakar, Punit Issar, Venkata Subbaiah, Ravi Prakash were among those who took part in the event.
