Sting on Chiranjeevi creates ripples in Praja Rajyam

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (TNN): A sting operation showing actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi making some off-the-cuff remarks against politicians in a closed-door meeting set off ripples in his fledgling Praja Rajyam Party on Wednesday.
In a secretly filmed video, whose origin was not known, Chiranjeevi was seen telling a group of young IT professionals that they should be wary of politicians willing to join Praja Rajyam Party.

"The change we want to bring in the system will not be achieved if we open flood gates to politicians. They may be inevitable for the party in some places because of their experience but they don’t bring in freshness," he told the gathering of his followers in his chambers in the highly-guarded party office here.
The nine-minute video was sent by unidentified persons to local TV channels which aired the footage and was also available on the internet.
Soon, the bloggers went cracking, posting a flurry of comments for and against the episode.
It is not clear who is behind the sting operation and what could be the purpose behind it.
The video showed Chiranjeevi in a relaxed mood, exchanging views with a group of his young fans on a wide range of issues including SEZs, political corruption and organisational matters.
Speaking to them informally, he virtually suggested to them to "spy" on the politicians desiring to join the party and wanted politicians to be kept out of the finer details of the new party.
The meeting was said to be aimed at discussing strategies for building the party organisation.
"We need young people like you who are selfless, dedicated and committed to bring in change in the society. You are my inspiration. You should appear to be closely working with politicians but at the same time keep a tab on them," Chiranjeevi, was seen telling the gathering.
Justifying Chiranjeevi’s comments, senior party leader Harirama Jogaiah, himself a veteran politician, said there was nothing wrong in cautioning against politicians who were out to play spoilsport.
Citing the instance of matinee idol and TDP founder president late N T Rama Rao being "ditched" by politicians close to him, Jogaiah, who recently quit Congress to join Praja Rajyam, said there was nothing disparaging about Chiranjeevi’s comments.

i agree with wht chiru says coz there are many politicians who are not selfless n dedicated. thy may cum n join the party coz of power. its better to check it earlier n tak necessary steps than to suffer later. prevention is always better than cure. let chiruroot thm out. chiru sir plz go ahead thr is nothng wrong in wht u said. goodluck sir

What Chiranjeevi has done is 100% CORRECT…
All the other party political leaders are ready to do any thing to get seat and they even downgraded for rigging, bribing the voters and young people.
There is nothing wrong in annayya doing this..infact this is the perfect strategical step to tackle the present polluted political system, “Mullu ni Mullu thone thiyyaali”

Drive these reddys, kammas, rajus and brahmins. they will not vote for PRP.
Our caste should unite and see that Chiru will become CM and also PM in due course.

Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu and Allu Aravind should become Home minister, Revenue minister and Dy. CM respectively in the coming elections.

After seeing all the comments here, I conclude that Chiru seems to have great strategies in getting support from Voters. This is not sting operation. One way to make sure that people believe completely in his party and throw others in to gut.
Otherwise how do you expect a new party to start big and win elections to become CM in the first elections itself?
No matter what, the way to solve society’s problems is not in this party or that party but in implementing sustainable society for Villages to make country depend on farming and not industries. That is what Gandhi had dreamed of the future for the country.

annayyaa. i like you so much. and i also like you entering politics. please be cautious and work towards your agenda of the party. make the people clear about ur party.the youth is always with you. im sure you will win the respecting elections.
and for people who are going to vote plz forget about caste coz we are human beings and we have the same blood running in our body. always change is good for the state. and chiru annayya is always a soft person and is always service minded. he would have siat in the home simply enjoying wat he has earned. but for us for our concern he has entered politics. to change the society as much as he can. so stand by him for the change of the society.

What chiru saying is correct. We cannot trust the politicians joining the party. As nagasri says no one has done much difference till now. Chandra babu naidu has done some thing. YS every body is seeing how he is doing? Lets give a chance to PRP and see how chiru and his party does… Atleast if not 100% he will do bit good for the people of Andra
