Dasaavatharam a cult film of Kamal Hasan

The Indian thespian numero uno is undoubtedly Kamal Hasan. His latest film Dasavatharam is eagerly awaited by the film buffs, cine critics and the audience. After Rajinikanth’s Sivaji, Kamals Dasaavatharam raised huge expectations, particularly because of the poor showing of his last couple of films.
Dasaavatharam is produced by V.Ravichandran under the banner of Oscar Films and directed by K.S.Ravi Kumar. The star cast includes Asin, Mallika Sherawat, Napolean, Nagesh, K.R.Vijaya and others.
According to the inside sources, the action episodes of Dasaavatharam will be the major highlights. In one special fight sequence, the character of Kamal Hasan spectacularly transforms into a different personality. This particular action sequence has been orchestrated by Joop, the renowned Hollywood stunt director and continuously shot for about 20 days. Another chase episode directed by stunt master Thyagarajan is said to be in a class of its own.
Thota Tharani, who became world famous with his art direction in Sivaji, is believed to have excelled in his art in Dsaavatharam. The two sets he created for two songs, at a cost of Rs 3 crore, are said to be simply extraordinary.
As the title indicates, Kamal Hasan enacts 10 different roles and in his own unique manner dubbed them with 10 different voice intonations. Even Asin dubbed her own voice in Tamil for the first time. Moreover, the Bollywood heartthrob, Himesh Reshamayi composed music for this film.
Plans are afoot for a world wide simultaneous release of Dasaavatharam in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The movie sucks even the storyline is good.
Gud luck Dr. Kamal for ur next film im sorry to say ths movie is not nice at all.

i have to disagree with the guys who say the movie sucks………the movie was excellent…..its not all your typicall indian movie where its only based love and 1 guy beating 20 crooks……Come on for once broaden your minds lads and enjoy a movie which shows how 10 characters from different life style convey their message that defines their character.Basicly i would say its a must watch movie and i wont be suprise if the movie comes out on a hollywood version.MR Kamal your simply brilliant and can’t wait for your next movie.

Well.. simply mind blowing! This movie sets standards for all the other movies in the industry.
I juzzz love Dr. Kamal for his superb performance that is definitely on his way for the OSCAR.

Here we Go……………..Movie was excellent despite the fact that it’s not perfect to certain extent……… however
below is my rating…..
Krishnaveni - Perfect make up but wondering how he can showing small size similar to 95-year-old grand lady - 7/10 because just to fill the number
1) Movie title - 10/10 - Perfect…..these movie created just for title
2) Rangaraja Nambi - wonder how he still keep his body fit at this age……quite touching when events from Chidambaram in the 12th century Chola empire…impression to choose between family & renownce his belief to shiva & song timing is perfect…..graphic is good.
3) Govindarajan Ramaswamy - it’s normal 80″s kamal hassan …body language as scientific terrorist (terrific scientist) quite suitable…too much running & the only character meet all the characters..6/10
4) George Bush- Just making the number only……impress me is the body language similar to Bush when he “call for manmohan singh” 4/10
5) Avtaar Singh - Just making the number only - perfect make up & Perfect body language…some people arguing about logic of still alive after been shoot but there is the logic because the nurse & with medical instruments available on the scene & if MGR manage survive why not avatar singh…..Song is OK but If AR-Rahman involvement may be better - 8/10
6) Christian Fletcher - I wasn’t realize this was another kamal until he was wrongly spell chimbondram @Chidabaram. I was fool by this character……..8/10
7) Shinghen Narahasi - Obvious make up - Not sure the last fight was done Dr.Kamal him self or not…..The martial style is working for the last scene fight with Fletcher….6/10 because he’s the only person understand tsunami better & the escape motion.
9) Vincent Poovaraagan - Make up a bit weird but acceptable, the sweet thing is the language spoke by his character. real touching when “kavi padall” by his friend…..9/10
10) Kalifullah Mukhtaar - just fixing the number - make is out but the specialty is the TALL factor……still ?? mark how DR manage to do it. Should absorb from local circus trick. 4/10
11) Balram Naidu - Up hand is 10/10 because perfect make & body language…..this character another reason why I should catch the movie again……..body motion & timing of the joke perfectly excuted. Compensate much irratting Ashi role.
12) Make up set by Michael George Westmore ( won academic award for Mask movie). So most of the make-up reflect to comedian & Cartoon factor……which I believe not suitable for Kamal avathar especially Kalifullah & George Bush. 5/10
13) Ashin Role irritating but compensate by Malika Sharawat entertainment & Balram Naidu
15) Scientific reason - Butterfly Effect & Chaos theory may not be understand by many people. Would be Butterfly kinetic factor can cause typhoon is a question mark?? The movie actually revolves around these reason because you chain reaction with every single character was connected once and each other……..vial impact worse the tsunami impact. That’s the basic movie story line but connected to Karma impact which arguable & subjective.
16) Tsunamy Graphic scene is not up to standard - I’m thinking they use home version graphical sofware / card. If kamal combine with shankar……at least the last part of the scene should be mouthwatering as no one dare to take the tsunamy scene at this risk……..then the movie became perfectly executed………why kamal didn’t rent NGEO Graphic card for tsunamy rebuliding scenarion ??? 6/10
Conclusion - Movie was excellent but not perfect 8/10……….

really….wonderful performance by padmasri..dr KAMALHASSAN gaaru…..asin charecter was boaring….anyway it is nt easy to perform such charecters 4 an ordinary actor…thats only possible 4 KAMAL…..particularly…..FLETURE role is ultimate…we r unable to guess him…though we r good fans of him…..

Whether the movie is perfect or not.I feel that if our nadigar thilagam Dr Sivaji Ganesan had acted 9 roles in “Navarathri” and the people excepted it and enjoyed the movie.Now our Dr Kamal hasan acted in Dasaavatharam in 10 roles and it had touched most of the people’s heart.Well,it is not that easy to act in so many role in one movie.I must appreciate that he is the second person who did it.We must give him an applause for that.Congratulation Dr Kamal Hasan.Sir,it is not a simple thing.I know that and so are the people who can understand.Keep it up.Sir, Keep up the good work.God bless you always
