Kantri takes off with song shoot

Kantri, the much-awaited film of NTR, took off to a silent shooting schedule over a song canning. This is for the first time that NTR comes under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Meher Ramesh, the disciple of Puri Jagannath , makes his entry as director in Telugu, though he gave a couple of superhits in Kannada. Hansika plays one of the heroine, while another female lead will be from Bollywood. Mani Sharma is said to have composed scintillating music. The film is set for summer release.
