Katrina crosses 3.5-cr mark

12 Oct 2008[TNN]: Katrina Kaif, whose market rate is Rs 3.5 crore after a series of hits with Akshay Kumar, is now being eyed by big production houses to bring that magical zing to their films.
The actress has reportedly signed a two-film deal for an amount that exceeds her present fee. One is by Abbas-Mastan and the other is most likely going to be a Hollywood film, says a source.
“We are proud to have Katrina, she’s one of the most talented and successful actresses of the industry,” said Ram Mirchandani whose production house is looking at an “exciting and wonderful future” with Ms Kaif.
Katrina, too, is hoping to work wonders with them. “I’m sure we will make some great films together,” said the actress, not wanting to divulge details about the films that are scheduled to be released in the next two years.
