Mallika ‘Begum’ Sherawat’s booming Hollywood connections

Mumbai, Aug 21: Just when you thought that Hollywood’s fascination with India was restricted to size zero and pageant winners, Mallika Sherwat is out to prove us all wrong, as after playing a female snake spilling venom in Jennifer Lynch’s ‘Nagin’, the hot chick will be seen in yet another film with a strong western link called ‘Begum’.
Going by Mallika’s royal snooty attitude, we feel that the film inspires its title from the bombshell actress herself. The film that is to be produced by Zee Telefilms will be written and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. According to Spicezee sources, the actress has given her final nod to the role.
So wondering what’s the Hollywood link?
According to the industry insiders, the film requires two western actors to play prominent meaty roles in the flick. Reports suggest that popular welsh actor John Rhys-Davies of ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Indiana Jones’ fame is already on board, while the search for the second western actor is on.
Mallika’s royal airs is really doing some majestic wonders for her.
