A movie just for kids

CHENNAI, JULY 04 (TNN) There’s good news for kids here at last. A movie, which has been made for them after a really long time, is to hit the screens shortly.
Called Vannathupoochi, the movie focusses on the problems faced by a kid whose parents work as team leaders in an IT company.
The movie’s audio release function, which was recently held at the Film chamber of commerce auditorium, was attended by several stars from the tinsel world including director Balu Mahendra, actor-cum-director Ameer and actress Revathy. The actress was the first to be presented a copy of the audio CD of the movie.
Speaking on the occasion, Ameer said, “One requires a lot of guts to make a movie for kids. I know that there are a lot of difficulties in making a movie and releasing it.”
Lauding P Azhagappan, the director of the movie, for his effort, he requested big production houses such as Saimira to buy the movie and release it. The movie stars Srilakshmi, Revathy, Balasingh, Siddharth and Madhavi Sharma among others. Music for the movie has been composed by Rehaan.
