Rajnikanth’s Kucheludu launched in style

Superstar Rajnikanth’s bilingual film in Telugu titled ‘Kucheludu’ was launched today evening at Hotel Novotel, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad. TDP president and former Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Jagapati Babu, Ashwini Dutt (producer), P. Vasu (director), K. Raghavendra Rao, hero Rajasekhar, Paruchuri Brothers, Rajamouli, Dr. D. Ramanaidu, Venu Madhav, Tannikella Bharani were among the guests. Ramcharan Teja also accompanied the guests. Vyjayanti Movies is making this film. Chiranjeevi sounded the clapboard. Chandrababu Naidu switched on the camera. Dasari Narayana Rao did the formal first shot direction.
Jagapati Babu was the first to come onto the stage and give the welcome address. He said: Just, I didn’t believe myself, when I was asked by Ashwini Dutt to do a film with Rajnikanth as my costar. He profusely thanked Rajnikanth, Ashwini Dutt and Vasu for his good luck.
Speaking on this occasion, Rajnikanth said that he felt immensely at joy to be part of Tollywood industry after several years. "I love Telugu people and I love Telugu language. During the launch of Pedarayudu, it was graced and blessed by ANR and NTR. The film became a big hit. Now also, I find good people here, who have come to bless us. I am sure Kucheludu will become a super hit. At a time when I was in a dilemma whether to continue in Telugu or Tamil, my one and only friend Mohan Babu suggested me to continue in Tamil. He said there was a lot of politics in Tollywood. The credit of my superstardom in Tamilnadu goes to my great friend Mohan Babu."
Chiranjeevi said: "Everybody knows Rajnikanth is the superstar. He is now an international figure with his influence felt even in Japan. We are all proud of him. When I felt personally disturbed in the recent past, Rajnikanth asked me to come to Chennai. He personally spent long hours with me. He is a philosopher. He is a guide. His positive energy is amazing. It happened during the Deepawali celebrations last year. Rajni gave me a lot of moral and psychological support. It is my luck to have a friend like Rajni. I wish the Vyjayanti Movies team all goodluck."
TDP Chandrababu Naidu heaped praise on Chiranjeevi and Rajnikanth. "I am happy to be here with glamour world. This film with Rajnikanth is a great contribution. Director P. Vasu has the capacity to do great films. The positive energy of Rajnikanth is great. Though he looks very simple, he holds extraordinary powers as a noble human being. Oka Natudigaa, Aayanaku Aayane Saati. Chiranjeevi is a good friend of mine. He holds a beautiful vision for society. His social service is commendable."
Dasari Narayana Rao termed Chandrababu Naidu as the "Alludu of Telugu cinema parisrama." This new film Kucheludu has the rare combination with Rajnikanth and Jagapati Babu. Ashwini Dutt fully knows the tactics of promoting the film, besides getting good openings for the same. I know Rajnikanth for nearly 35 years – from Day One of his industry entry. What he was then is the same today. His mannerisms and his respect for others remain the same. It is a rare phenomenon in the film industry. His positive energy is incredible. The same brought him universal recognition. I am sure P. Vasu will make a great film with Kucheludu."
