Riya Sen replaces Jia Khan in Kanthri
Glamourous Bollywood actress Riya Sen, daughter of Moon Moon Sen is being actively considered to star opposite NTR Jr in his next film Kantri, being produced by C Ashwinidutt. Chitramala.com already reported that Kanthri will be launched on the 14th of September.
According to the usually authoritative but anonymous Tollywood sources, Riya Sen is to be the second lead instead of Zia Khan of Nishabd fame, who was initially approached for the role. Now, Riya Sen is finalized for this role. Hansika Motwani plays the main heroine role.
Meher Ramesh is making his Telugu debut as director. He earlier assisted Puri Jagannadh and later directed two Kannada films, Ajay and Veera Kannadiga, both remakes of Okkadu and Andhrawala respectively.
