Sneha Ullal is all set to make her Kannada debut with the Upendra starrer London Gowda. The script has been penned by Upendra himself. What induced Sneha to sign Uppi’s film; after all, this isn’t the first Sandalwood offer she’s received, the Ganesh-starrer Ullasa Utsaha reportedly being one of them. Was it because she wasn’t getting attractive enough remuneration earlier? “I was kind of avoiding Kannada films for a while, mainly because I was busy doing Telugu films. But I liked the Upendra’s script and I had the dates available for the film,” she says.
Why did Sneha head down south after her Bollywood stint? “Telugu is a different language for me. And the southern film industry is very professional. An actress can learn a lot and become a better performer once she starts working here,” she says. So with her hands seemingly full down south, will Sneha go back to Bollywood? “I’m definitely open to Btown offers. But right now, I will first honour the commitments I have in the Telugu industry,” says Sneha. Right now, Sneha is concentrating on her latest Telugu project, the Sushant-starrer Current.
