Yuva Garjana: Telugu Desam hires 23 trains
The Telugu Desam Party is all geared up to make the “Yuva Garjana” at Guntur on November 5 the “mother of all rallies” by mobilising about 15 lakh people and ferrying people from all parts of the State in trains, buses, lorries and other modes of transport.
The party wants it to make it the biggest show ever, as film stars from NTR’s family —Balakrishna, Kalyan Ram and Taraka Ratna – will make their first public appearance from the Telugu Desam platform, though it has lost some of its gloss with Junior NTR keeping away from the show.
The scale of the transportation arrangements could be gauged from the fact that the party has already hired 23 trains, paying a fare of Rs.9. 8 lakh each and sought more from the South Central Railway. The maximum of three trains will come from Chittoor, while two each will come from Kadapa, Kurnool, Nizamabad and Warangal and one each from other districts. In addition, it is planning to hire 500 buses to bring people from each district, besides innumerable lorries. “There is tremendous demand for more buses from the districts,” K. Rammohana Rao of the transportation committee told The Hindu.
With Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu making it clear to the State Committee on Thursday that they should go all-out to make the “garjana” a benchmark for all future rallies, the leaders promptly got down to the business of working out the logistics from making arrangements for transportation, accommodation and food. The meeting itself is being held on a sprawling 300-acre site.
Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party leader K. Yerran Naidu released a CD and audio cassette that has a distinct Telangana touch in some of the songs. Others present were G. Butchaiah Choudary, S. Venugopala Chary and Kaluva Srinivasulu.

all those who support balayya are kammas only they know cast politics. if u r educated dont go with cast, dont go with films, dont encourage criminals who escape from shooting cases and participate in yuva garjana, guy who dont have control on his own attitude what he will control state. think guys before voting see whether he is having any criminal background, is he well educated, he is participating in any of the good activities like helping poor and orphan and many other things u have to see before voting. u may think i am a chiranjeevi fan no i am not, and i am not against balakrishna. i am a common man who is thinking whom to vote. i am against cast politics u can see the cut outs of yuva garjana only kammas no other cast people, think before u vote think of jayaprakash narayana. who sacrificed his life, job and many things for people.

There was no response from people when Chandrababu asked whether they are ready to bring victory for TDP. And same was the case when Chandraabu asked them if Congress is really looting the state. No sounds were listened when Babu asked people to give claps louder in support of TDP. There is huge applause for Balayya when he told some filmy dialogues in filmy way. That has turned an entertainment show for people and hence the response.
Above all, the Congress ads started flashing in TV9 and NTV as soon as Yuva Garjana was concluded and that’s how the affect of entire TDP show got diluted. And Nagarjuna started appearing big way in TV ads campaigning for Congress’ schemes turning the attention of TV viewers.
